BiographyLeicester's own Hell's Addiction formed just over a year ago through a love and passion for classic no bullshit rock. With its members having come together from local bands De Sade, Dirty Cocktail and Forgotten Sun, and a stageshow honed by supporting bands such as Heaven's Basement, Voodoo Six, Fury UK, The Heavy Metal Kids and Zodiac Mindwarp, these guys really know how to rock! Hell's Addiction play with a raw intense energy that very few bands possess and live onstage is where the band really hit you hard. A band out of time? Perhaps in some ways, but stumble upon a gig by Motherlode and you will hear a trio blasting away as if it were the heyday of wailing power trio. Whether it's the riff heavy Zeppelin-esque grooves, the bump and grind swagger of Free or the Cream-like improvisational solo passages that also conjure up the Band of Gypsies, you'll soon come to realise that this is a band needed in our time! A warm heady remedy to manufactured music, this is honest to the soul real music. Since 2007, Motherlode have shared a stage with greats such as Glenn Hughes, Budgie, Wishbone Ash, Focus and the Union - a veritable who's who of classic rock.
