The gathering of neo-progressive rock band Arena's famous musicians makes for a super-group of sorts: founded in 1995 by Mick Pointer (ex-Marillion) and Clive Nolan (Pendragon) playing the drums and keyboards respectively, this star-studded line-up is completed by guitarist John Mitchell (It Bites), vocalist Paul Manzi and bassist John Jowitt (IQ).
One of the dominant forces of the 90's progressive rock scene, their oustanding musicianship, despite numerous line-up changes, has seen them remain at the forefront of the prog movement. They combine a solid rhyhm section, orchestrated keyboards and superbly melodic guitar solos, but never at the expense of well-crafted and memorable songs.
